Have you ever wondered how to schedule a post in Blogger? This one may seem basic, but it contains one step that gives most people trouble. I’m a big fan of scheduling posts. You can publish posts live precisely when you want, even if you will not have access to a computer at that time. A while back, I wrote a post on take a week off without anyone knowing, and scheduling posts is a huge part of that!
Scheduling a post on Blogger is really very easy.
Follow these steps:
Write your post as you normally would.
Then…
Now here’s the weird part…
I know, it feels very wrong to click “publish” on a post that you don’t want to go live at that moment. This is especially true if you have ever used WordPress, since if you set a future date or time for a post in WP, the “publish” button automatically changes to a “schedule” button. With that said, it is how you have to do it in Blogger. So once you click “publish” on a post that you have scheduled for the future, you’ll be taken to your “All Posts” section of your Blogger dashboard, where you’ll see this:
Your post will appear as “scheduled” and will display the time that you set it to go live.
Be honest, do you/did you cringe as you click “publish” on a scheduled post out of fear that it will go live right then?
